Overall, my experience with MSS was really smooth! They reply fast and are generally quite nice but would benefit from updating their website to match their currently available services. The interpreter I was assigned, Sophia was very friendly, patient and made what could have been a stressful process really stress-free. I think that even if the clinic you have already has an in-house translator, that getting an interpreter is still in your interest because they can help you with going to pharmacies or other small things.

I am so happy I found My Seoul Secret to help me with my journey as I didn’t have to stress about the process too much or spend hours researching myself. They were extremely helpful through the entire process, organising all appointments, and facilitating quick communication between the doctor and myself. An interpreter came with me to all of my appointments (initial consultation & medical testing, surgery day, & suture removal) and made sure I understood what to expect with the surgery, potential risks and complications. On surgery day, the interpreter was with me up until I went under GA and was there when I woke up. I came during the new year holiday period so was paired with a few different interprets across appointments. I highly recommend hiring them to help with your PS journey – I know I definitely will be if I decide to get any procedures in the future. It definitely took a lot of the stress off my shoulders in coming to a foreign country for surgery and not understanding the local language. Big thank you to Sophia, Annette and Hwan, it really felt like I had an entire team supporting me!

It depends who you're paired up with but in my case, I got lucky and got paired with Sophia who made my first time experienve (seeking surgery in Korea) very smooth. Sophia is an amazing translator who has years of experience in medical tourism. It is evident in how she easily forms great connections with everyone in the clinics. I'm so glad that I met Sophia, she is a gem!

I needed a last minute interpreter for a clinic visit. My Seoul Secret did their best to arrange an interpreter 1 day in advance.
