There are a lot of clinics in Korea that pose as Dermatologists but run more like a beauty treatment factory with no actual reassurance you’ll get to the root cause of your skin issues. I was pretty disappointed visiting this clinic today, since I’m struggling with an active breakout, I searched “Licensed Dermatologist in Seoul Korea.” I scheduled a consultation appointment, under the impression I would get more information about my active breakout. I was told the consultation was for beauty treatments only and it would cost 110,000 won to see a dermatologist. If they were more up front about that throughout the booking process I would have looked elsewhere to see a doctor, instead of booking a consultation. Other than that the clinic itself is nice, but I’m afraid it’s another overpriced beauty treatment factory for Foreigners. If my experience changes with this clinic, I will update my review! My daughter had a consultation at this clinic, and what I truly appreciated was that the consultant, Jun, did not push any unnecessary treatments. Instead, he provided honest recommendations, realistic expectations, and very helpful advice. I had aqua cleaning, deep moisturizing, and cryo cooling treatments. This was my first time ever getting a facial, and choosing this clinic for my first experience was amazing. The clinic itself is very clean and feels luxurious. All of the staff were kind and welcoming, especially Esco, who kept checking on us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. He is truly a great asset to the clinic. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I will definitely come back here when I visit Seoul again.
