They have 1-2 English translators on staff, and the doctor is also fluent in English.\n\nBefore the surgery:\nThere is some prep to do as far as providing them with a blood test, stopping medications, and fasting before the surgery. All pretty straightforward.\n\nDay of surgery (Day 0):\nNerves aside, the process was smooth and thorough. I had a final consultation where the staff reviewed the surgical plan, set expectations, explained the aftercare, and provided paperwork. The surgery itself was fine (I think?)—I was knocked out with anesthesia so I have no recollection of any of it. The staff offered to pick up my aftercare prescriptions for me (with my permission to use my credit card) while I was in surgery, which saved me some trouble because all I wanted to do was go to my room right after. Woke up with no bruising and was able to walk back to my hotel by myself (I stayed very close by).
