He’s a very pleasant man and I really enjoyed speaking with him! Unfortunately, I was not able to stay in the country long enough to remove the stitches, however, the providers I saw in my home country kept complimenting the work Dr. You did. To emphasize, they had said “the stitches are so intricate and beautiful.” Would definitely return for any future procedures!

I’m currently 11 days post-surgery, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results of my lower blepharoplasty and fat grafting. Pre-arrival / Diagnosis: Since I was only going to be in Seoul for a week, all pre-arrival consultations were done via WhatsApp months in advance. I sent photos and had a detailed discussion with Roi about the available options, including the pros and cons of each. The scheduling process was smooth, and I was able to secure my slot with a deposit. Day of Surgery: The clinic was clean, modern, and very welcoming. The receptionists and nurses were kind and reassuring throughout. They used a translation device to ensure clear communication, which made the whole experience much more comfortable. Before the procedure, I had a consultation with Dr. You to go through the surgical plan and address any concerns. He has a very calm, soft demeanour and came across as both professional and reassuring in his clinical advice. I will say that I found it slightly intimidating when I was already on the operating table and still awake while the nurses prepped me—applying iodine to my abdomen and face and placing restraints on my feet. I understand this is standard practice in Korea, though it’s usually done after anaesthesia in other countries, so it caught me off guard. That aside, the surgery itself went smoothly. Post-Surgery: Recovery has been excellent. I experienced only minor swelling and was able to return for follow-up reviews the next day and again one week later before flying home. Day 10–11: My stitches were removed on Day 7, and the healing has progressed beautifully. The results already look very natural, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well everything has settled. I had surgery with Dr. You at ROI Plastic Surgery and have had a really good experience so far. I came to Seoul for incisional double eyelid surgery, under-eye fat repositioning with fat grafting, Ulthera, and Rejuran. I chose ROI because I was looking for a natural result and liked that the clinic only has one surgeon. Dr. You speaks fluent English, which made the consultation really easy. He took the time to explain my options and why he recommended certain procedures instead of just agreeing with what I originally asked for. The clinic was clean, and the staff were kind throughout the process. My surgery day went smoothly, and my follow-up appointment the next day was quick and organized. I’m not in a lot of pain, haven’t had any complications, and feel good overall. One thing to keep in mind is that communication over WhatsApp can be slow (usually around 2 business days), so I’d recommend contacting them well in advance and following up if needed.
