I received Protenza micro-needling after a consultation with the English speaking dermatologist. I wish that there was more time spent analyzing the skin for more recommendations, but I went into the clinic knowing I wanted micro-needling to minimize my pores. The nurses and dermatologist were kind, and not pushy with the treatments, and even complimented my skin. The Protenza treatment was very affordable, however, it was quite painful. They placed numbing cream 30 min before treatment and I wish I emphasized my sensitive skin more, as they would have put more cream on or allowed it to sit longer. I was very red and irritated after the treatment. They gave me a prescription to fill in the pharmacy downstairs (that was also quick and easy), but I am sensitive to antibiotics so I did not take it.
