The WhatsApp inquiry was prompt and the online photo consult was very convenient. Communication with the English consultant was generally good, though I did have to follow up a few times. For the in-person consult, just be aware that it’s very fast and ‘no-fuss’. Dr. Jeong speaks fluent English and was very professional, but definitely have your questions ready beforehand.\n\nOn surgery day, everything moved quickly. The operating room was busy with a lot of staff working at once before I was put under. The nurses were a bit rough, and recovery felt a little rushed; they originally told me to wait until my IV was finished, but then asked me to leave halfway through the bag because they needed the bed for someone else.\n\nIn the week after the surgery, I went back twice for post-op care (drain and stitch removal). There was minimal wait time and it was very straightforward. I’m still healing, so I have some expected swelling and hardening in my chin and some eyelid asymmetry, but I know it takes a few months to see the final result.
