Local stitch is a great place if you are the following travellers: digital nomad who is staying in Korea for few months, and second time visitor who really liked quieter neighbourhoods around hongdae like seogyo or yeonnam and looking to just stay in this area. I personally enjoyed staying in this budget friendly room. It's not rich in amenities, but it was clean and comfortable to stay. If you've stayed in business hotels in Japan, I think it's somewhat close to that, but slightly bigger. I enjoyed its shared spaces, and I think that's a real charm of this place. I started my morning by going to the gym, went to the coworking space, and then wrapped up my day in cozy cafes and restaurants. It even has a room where you can listen to records. I don't think I can recommend this place to a first-time traveler who is looking to quickly hop into a subway and go to a lot of different neighborhoods though. Few extra things: You have to purchase some amenities due to Korean environmental laws such as toothbrush or shaving kit. You have to buy slippers too, and I wish I brought Crocs. The washroom does not have a shower curtain, so water splashes everywhere. A quick-drying slipper like Crocs would have been really useful.
