Just spent the morning at Cheongdong Arden Clinic and had an absolutely amazing experience! From beginning to end, my daughter and I received true VIP treatment. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, and the doctor was incredibly knowledgeable, recommending personalized skin treatments based on both our goals and the results of our skin analyses. The clinic itself is beautiful, luxurious, and offers a genuine high-end spa atmosphere that makes the entire experience feel relaxing and indulgent. Warning—this is a long one! But worth it. Had the BEST experience here with Dr. Han and his team. Coming from the US I was (probably like you reading now) completely overwhelmed by the number of clinics in Korea. I was looking for somewhere with a highly skilled doctor and a more private atmosphere and wanted to ensure that i wasn’t being handed off from person to person like in a factory clinic. One of my Korean girlfriends recommended the app iipuda, where I explain my concerns (mostly sagging) and they recommended Arden clinic as one of the top clinics for ultherapy. We did book a few other clinics for procedures on other days as well. I went into the Arden clinic office and was immediately warmly greeted by staff who took me into a beautiful private room and proceeded to clean my face. I was then taken to get my face scanned, and clinic specialist Sejin walked me through my results and potential remedies; there was another member of the staff (Yoojin) who translated to English. She was extremely thorough and took lots of time to answer all of my questions. I was then introduced to Dr. Teddy Han who owns the clinic and takes care of every patient himself. Dr. Teddy is wonderful!!! Truly— he speaks perfect English and is extremely knowledgeable, patient, transparent, and kind. Everyone really took their time. In fact I got there at 10 AM and didn’t start treatments until 12 because the consultation process was so detailed. I truly felt safe and in good hands, which is really important for a procedure like ultherapy where you need a knowledgeable seasoned doctor that can tailor the different transducer depths based on your anatomy —this prevents the dreaded fat loss for areas that you don’t want. He explained that my sagging was due to excessive fat pads in my cheeks, so it would actually help with my overall face lifting to target those areas. I was also interested in stem cell therapy and Dr. Han kindly explained that most of the current “stem cell” procedures out there are not true stem cell therapy because you need at least a week or so to grow the stem cells. Instead, he suggested exosomes. His clinic uses ExoSmart, which is a CE-MDR certified Class IIa medical device (Italy/EU) that processes your own blood on-site to extract concentrated platelet-derived exosomes (it’s not a pre-made vial product—don’t use those!!). if you know anything about regulations then you know EU regulations are way more strict then FDA. In fact, Dr Han shared his own routine with me—which includes exactly ulthera mixed with exosomes for maximum results. He also recommended a few other procedures and all in I got titanium, ulthera, exosomes, eye volnewmer, juvelook, iv drip, and more. He also personally tests every single new device and treatment to understand the feeling and results. ALSO JUST LOOK AT THE GUY. I mean I’ll just take whatever he’s having he’s literally Benjamin button. I won’t bore you with the details, but let’s just say I canceled all the other clinic appointments I had lined up afterwards and even lost my deposit for one😆 When it comes to execution, Dr. Han has a team of top notch specialized doctors and staff that operate different machines and treatments and he himself did all of my major treatments. Everything took about four hours after the consultation. I was there for so long Dr Han even personally ordered me a smoothie haha! and sweet Yoojin stuck by me the ENTIRE time and held my hand. Pain was tolerable with a mix of topical lidocaine, lidocaine injections, and laughing gas, but he did warn me that exosomes are PAINFUL. He wasn’t wrong. It was probably the most painful treatment I’ve ever received, but it was over relatively quickly. Dr Han kindly invited me back today for recovery treatments as my face looks a little red, and I have work on Monday… but I’m so excited to see the results and will fight the urge to gatekeep and instead will benevolently share this clinic with all of my friends and family and here for you.
