Communication was not an issue, and I used my phone to translate whenever needed. I opted for local anesthesia instead of twilight sedation, and while the numbing injections were the most uncomfortable part, the procedure itself was painless. Dr. Jeong kept me at ease throughout, and chatted with me throughout the surgery. He also noticed my old cartilage piercing had started forming a small keloid and offered to remove it at no extra charge. Later that evening, my left ear started bleeding, so I messaged him on KakaoTalk. He responded immediately and even met me at the clinic after hours to clean the wound and re-bandage it. He and his staff were consistently quick to respond to any questions throughout my recovery. My ears have now fully healed, and I am happy with the results.
